It is wonderful to celebrate the start of the Year of the Snake with New Zealand's vibrant Chinese community.
我非常高兴能与新西兰充满活力的华人社区共同庆祝蛇年的到来。
Chinese New Year is a special time to reflect, connect with loved ones, and embrace new beginnings with hope and purpose.
春节是一个独特而重要的时刻，我们一起回顾过去，与亲朋好友团聚，并以满怀希望和明确目标迎接新的开始。
The Year of the Snake symbolises wisdom, resilience, and transformation - qualities thatinspire us as we face challenges and look for opportunities to grow together. These values are a reminder of the strength we gain by working together to build thriving communities and a brighter future for all New Zealanders.
蛇年象征着智慧、韧性和变革——这些宝贵的品质鼓舞着我们在面对挑战时不断寻找共同成长的机会。这些价值观提醒我们，唯有团结协作，才能建立繁荣的社区，并为所有新西兰人创造更加美好的未来。
During this Year of the Snake, our Government remains steadfast in its mission to get New Zealand back on track--restoring law and order, rebuilding the economy, and delivering our work. better public services for all. As we move into 2025, these priorities will continue to guide to work.

This is a fantastic time for Chinese families to have a taste of home, reconnect with their roots and share just a little bit of their culture with communities here in New Zealand.
这是中国家庭追根溯源的思乡纪念，并与新西兰本地社区分享些许传统文化的美好时刻。
In my family, we celebrate the Chinese New Year by making dumplings at home and joining ourlocal Chinese community to enjoy the festivities.
在我的家庭中，我们通过包饺子以及和当地华人社区一起欢庆节日的方式来庆祝中国新年。
I reflect fondly on the memories I made leading New Zealand's largest ever delegation to Chinaas Prime Minister - and certainly, I am looking forward to making many more with our local communities here.
我满怀深情地回忆起担任总理期间，带领新西兰史上规模最大的代表团访华的点点滴滴。当然，我也期待着与我们当地社区开展更多合作。
So, have a wonderful time, look after each other, and let's look forward to the new year together, as we enter the year of the snake.

随着新西兰华人的人口增长，我们也必须确保华社有一定的代表权，而且政府政策也必须考虑到华社的需求。
今年是蛇年。蛇不仅代表好运，还代表长寿。在此我代表新西兰绿党祝大家2025年蛇年快乐，大吉大利，全家圆满，身体健康。
